Jungle Jim's: The Chefs Paradise

This guy does all the cooking in our house. He's been taught great skills from his dad. I'm pretty decent at making ramen noodles and scrambled eggs, so needless to say I'm more than thankful I have his kitchen skills to broaden my daily meals.

Misleh family dinners are the best! Lots of meats, sauces, rice, all the ingredients for a full tummy. I'm determined to have little Freya learn the culinary ways from these two!

I particularly love when Easa (pictured above, in front of Nico) is present at dinners, because he makes sure the salt, butter, and bread make it to the table. Three ingredients I'm very, very fond of. Thanks Easa!
And Julian (not pictured), because he always suggest good old Graeter's Ice Cream for the wrap up!

Nico and I do our best to always do grocery trips to together. Now a party of three, we'll one day have to avoid the candy aisle. That's gonna be a nightmare.
Rambutan (above). Have you tried it?! It's the weirdest fruit! You peel the hard outer shell like you would an orange, and reveal what looks and feels to big a giant peeled grape. It's a rubbery texture with a light citrus type flavor. Opa Frank introduced it to us! Yum!
The Misleh's, all of my husband's brothers in particular, LOVE hot sauce. They basically put it on everything.

Sad fact: after I took this photo, my water bottle bonked Freya in the head....and she broke down in tears.....and so did I, and then fell right asleep. She did. Not I.  Broke my heart! I felt horrible. Horrible.

Lime Black Bean Turkey Enchiladas for dinner tonight. Bon Appétit!
